wavy lines down the monitor

I am using the built in video of the Asus CUSL2, and I am getting a wave going through my monitor from top to bottom. I tried my other monitor and it did the same thing. A wiggle or wave travels from the top of the screen down to the bottom and distorts the screen slightly as it is going down. It does this several times per second.

I wonder if the refresh rate is set to something ridiculously low--make sure you're using the correct .inf file for the monitor and check in the adapter settings to set a refresh rate of at least 70Hz. Also, I'd place the computer in another location and see if the problem repeats itself.
