I second the great job this team has done the last several days, from the looks of it most of the other teams are raising there output as well...guess we'll just have to keep adding more members!!!

Your on You will beat me to it as you now out produce me..........Unless I talk the IT guy at work to let put the client on the 800+ P3 933MHZ we have at work (Cingular Customer Service Call Center), one can only dream. Not to mention the 64 way SGI database server we have. (11 million accounts with 400-800 reps hitting it at a time)

I already am :frown:. I just offered a people a lot of money in the FS forum to get my Abit IT7-Max2 mobo up and running. With 2 computers over 2GHz, I ought to be able any really start crunching those cEM's. However I only have credit card funds and a lot of people cringe in the FS forum at that. Not only that I had to make a couple low ball offers as I only have $250 in available funds. But those thing were not for the vital stuff. Mostly optical drives, a keyboard/mouse, and HDD. For the CPU and memory I offered full funds that they asked for. I'll let you all know tommorrow if I will have another computer to bust those numbers

The good news is I will primarily have no use for it when it is done. It can sit 24/7 for months on end without rebooting at my ISP's server room and just do nothing but run those numbers .
I figure my current P4 can run 24/7 also. I do not have any programs that run bad on a 950MHz system. So I can just use that. Hell, maybe even my 450MHz PIII, but that maybe pushing good usability.
But those two need completing also .

We need more peeps, the other teams seem to be moving just slightly faster than us and we are losing ground. While I do not see us getting TeamPrimeRib's place. I see no reason why we can not get FreeDC's place.

My brother is having me format an reinstall WinME on his computer. He uses nothing but chat and Kazaa. For payment I told him I am going to assimilate his computer and put the program on to run during idle time. He kinda cringed at that idea and was about to object. Till I told him he can go on ahead and reinstall windows by himself then. By then he found out resistance is futile and shut his mouth.
He later thought about and had no objections anyway. I told him it will only run during his screen saver time anyway. It should be online within the next two hours. Just a celery 667 gateway system, but it will do a few more cEM's anyway.

If any of you peeps can get a friends/family's computer to run during idle time that might make us gain ground on the other two. They are not putting out much more numbers than we are. While I am no mathematician it seems like 20 more computers will have us start gaining ground at a better rate instead of losing it.

Perhaps we ought to start putting signatures with a link to our team. Until I seen the thread in the FS forum for recruitment, I did not know about team Anandtech DC. All those WU's I crunched in the past for SETI could have been used for the team instead of myself. Although I was bored of SETI at the time so I decided to quit using it back in Nov., I could have contributed to it team.
SB turned out to be my new DC thingy. Hopefully I can put out some good meaningful numbers... well all numbers are meaningful. What I meant to say was I want to put out some big numbers .

I think you can still help the SETI team. If you join there team I think it will transfer over the WUs. Well atleast I think so I have never ran SETI!

Click here to join Team Anandtech for Seti This link will require you to enter your SETI email address, and the password assigned to you (click here if you do not have your password - if you use Hotmail or similar, with a Junk Mail filter, then this will probably go there, so make sure you set that to a delayed delete ) After doing this, you will be helping the AT Seti Team

I have just moved my Duron 850 server across from Seti to SoB, so that'll help us a little I have a P2 400, board + memory sitting here, but no hdd/floppy, so not sure if/how i could get this running SB yet...i'll keep my eye out for a small hdd tho

Just the P3 computers could easily give you ~100 McEMs/second :Q:Q That's as much as the entire project combined. Maybe you should take the IT guy out to lunch or something.
