You should have cut back....or not. I was happy.

The chick in the video. :whiste:

I didn't even watch that game, although I might get home in time tonight to watch the Buckeyes lose, so I may toss a few back.

Just watched it...she looks like a lot of fun...as long as she's happy.

On the 2nd, I hope you're right.

Also, why would it matter if Auburn gets blown out? What are the ramifications other than internet discussions and messing with any SEC people you might know personally?

Because anything that defuses that stupid SEC mystique is a good thing. A few years ago there was an SEC team (I can't remember who, maybe Arkansas) that didn't have ANY good out-of-conference wins and was ranked in the top 20 or top 15 purely because they were in the SEC.

Then, when it came down to end-of-year discussions and voting, a win against that team was held up as a a big-time quality win for LSU or Alabama or Florida, whomever it was, again - solely because that team was a ranked SEC team.

The sooner (no pun intended) that starts to go away the better. Although - now with the playoff coming up, it may not matter as much (crosses fingers).

I assume it's also is a big factor in recruiting. There's only so much NFL O line and D line talent to go around, and the SEC has been monopolizing it for the past 7-10 years. Alabama's O line last year was basically an NFL line. as was LSU's D line. Time to spread those big bodies around a bit. From what I've read FSU has been able to make some inroads the past few years.

Please go on with your vague analysis of some mysterious team a few years back being ranked in the top 20 when they shouldn't have been, that's very enlightening and definitive evidence.

I especially like how you backed up your argument by speaking to the strength of the SEC players and the ability of the conference to recruit.

That being said, lol bama !

I don't follow the SEC. I don't give two shits about the SEC.

LOL at SEC fans that chant ESS EH SEE.

Who else chants for their respective conference?
They chant when their team loses. It's their way of winning when they lose.

I am going to start chanting "FOOTBALL", that way my sport always wins.

'sup, Kevin? Shouldn't you be getting your "game on" for 8:30? I'm hoping for a Woody Hayes like night. Beating, firing, partying....

Actually, Woody was quite the man. Impressive.

Hoping for a W at this point and no more mistakes/cute plays gone wrong.

I did just hear them chanting S-E-C at the Mizzou / OSU game after Mizzou sealed it. That may actually be the most fitting considering past conference ties.

Anyway, most of the bowl results are in, and here are the records for the conferences:

1. SEC 5-1: The SEC still has Alabama, Auburn and Vanderbilt (against Houston) to play. But again, the SEC has been impressive.

Impressive how? The beat Duke (barely), Iowa (barely), Georgia Tech (by eight), and Rice, while losing to a Nebraska team that was 7-4 and an Oklahoma team that was thrashed by Texas and Baylor. Rice plays in Conference USA, for fucks sake. They lost to Houston and North Texas. That was the only game the SEC had in hand, the rest were all toss-ups until late in the 4th.

They are favored to beat everybody out of conference because they play the WEAKEST out of conference schedule. And sorry, dude, but UCF is the real deal.

And how many points did Georgia lose to Neb? By 5 points with a chance to win at the end. Funny how you "forgot" to mention the word BARELY because LSU won by 7 (with a rookie backup QB) yet they barely won, eh? Last time I check, 7 > 5.

SEC still has a winning record in bowl games this year.

I didn't fail to mention Nebraska, but if you want to, alright lol. Nebraska got smoked by UCLA, Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan St. They beat Wyoming by 3, Northwestern by 3, Michigan by 4, and Penn St by 3 in overtime. Nebraska was pretty crappy this year, and yeah, they beat #22 Georgia (a team that only lost to Auburn because of a miracle) by 5. What point are you trying to make? That an SEC team ranked #22 lost to a crappy team? Point well taken.

Yes, they have a winning record.... against pretty average competition.

To point out your hypocrisy. When a SEC team won, they BARELY won. But when they lost to another team with even closer score (and with a chance to win at the end), the other team did not BARELY win per you. See it now?

Oh, since you said UCF is the real deal, who did they lose to (their only loss) in regular season? An SEC team. I know, I know..barely.

What the fuck are you talking about? Where did I say Nebraska didn't barely win?

Post #91. See it now? I did not see anything barely regarding Neb in your post, do you?

As I said, 7 >>>> 5.

You act like I'm saying Nebraska blew them out. I never said one way or the other. Hypocrisy not found.

I said they lost to Nebraska, and they did. Does it make you feel better if I say Georgia barely lost to a shitty team?

You still don't get it, do you? A win is a win and a loss is a loss. Don't be a hater and a hypocrite. The readers can read your post #91 and see for themselves.

Also, this statement of yours:

They are favored to beat everybody out of conference because they play the WEAKEST out of conference schedule. And sorry, dude, but UCF is the real deal.

shows you do not know much about college football. Look up strenght of schedule and UCF is way behind many SEC teams.
