What's really amazing about that 9-1 stat for the SEC is that their only loss was when LSU lost to Alabama two years ago. So far, only the SEC has been able to beat the SEC in the BCS title game.

I'm attacking your grammar because it's too difficult to understand what you're saying. The BCS game is a joke, and the SEC champion receives an automatic bid to play in it. The conference will never have the success in the new playoff system that they've had in the BCS era.

not saying Jeff Sagarin doesn't know his stuff, but a weird time to cite his rankings after:

#2 Bama lost to #21 Oklahoma
#3 Stanford lost to #7 MSU

To be fair, a lot of college football people had been saying those two teams belonged in any playoff format so it isn't just Sagarin. And I didn't even bring up Baylor.

Point is, I'm not sure how you call computer rankings or human rankings/polls "facts".
