You boycott the game dev for engaging in silly practices, as a consumer that sends a message and I fully support this type of consumer protest. Vote with your wallet.

On the $850 rumour AMD has always or almost always priced their stuff in line with performance relative to the competition so AMD over pricing their cards should be the last thing to worry about.

You showed the benchmark of GTX 980 SLI not GTX 970 SLI so both are different because we know that GTX 970 have problems.

The real question is that why i will pay premium amount for a product if i have to boycott a game, wait for it to get $5 or do not buy it.

You have made it abundantly clear that you will not buy any Radeon product and provided many reasons for this. We fully understand and that is your choice. But this thread is not about what you will never buy it is about an upcoming card that people will purchase and are anxious to see how it stacks up against Nvidia.

Actually there was 2 links in that post, for 970 SLI and 980 SLI. Both have frame latency problems.

I just find it odd that you claim you pay for the best so you only buy NV SLI setups...

Development practices where they code the game to specifically use one set of functions on based hardware should be boycotted. Just because I buy a game that says best on nvidia does not mean I should expect bad performance on another brand gpu. Sometimes it turns out some games have certain features specifically for one brand and not the other. It's been done several times in the past.
