. A report published by EXPReview.com claims that the Nvidia Geforce GTX TITAN-X (or whatever it is called) will be priced around $1350 MSRP. That is approximately $350 more than the standard pricing of TITANs (single GPU). TITAN-X will extend the TITAN branding from Nvidia and will be equipped with a GM200 and will probably ship with 6GB of vRAM (with 12GB variants following at AIB discretion). The publication quotes inhouse sources and cannot be verified, so please take this with a grain of salt and as always notice the rumor tag above.

I prefer to spend that much on 2 x GPUs with blocks and backplates.

Greedy Greeny.

Maybe you guys aren't interested, but I'm willing to bet this new Titan card sells out.

That isn't saying much of anything on it's own. Anyone can create a supply constraint to drum up artificially created demand. Look at the actual numbers sold and compare it with other gaming GPU's. That will give you an idea of how many people are buying it. The "notify me" button at Newegg doesn't tell you anything. They may have started out with one or even none for that matter.

People are celebrating the predicted death of AMD, and then this happens while they're still around. It's just sad that this is a believable rumor.

They got me once with Titan, they won't do it again. I'm just gonna sit on a 980 until they offer a real solid upgrade at a SEMI-reasonable price.

Sad indeed. It's also sad that we have given up on reasonable prices from NVidia and settled for SEMI reasonable. This isn't a knock on pwndenburg, but on the product and pricing structure of current gen GPU's, particularly ones from NVidia. AMD does get brave from time to time also, but slapping them back to reality is easier and they typically learn their lesson and won't repeat the same mistake until at least two generations later.

Wow... I just felt it now...
An nvidia marketing guru just lost their wings....

You're a cruel and unusual person. I can't believe you don't have $2700 ready for sli Titan x....

Except the week they launch people here will be posting SLI or even Tri and Quad SLI benchmarks. Guaranteed someone will buy em.

Of course people will buy them, All I'm saying is unless you have access to the sales numbers, simply seeing them sold out doesn't tell you anything. I highly doubt Titan X is going to be a high volume product.

Its not even about the money to me. I'm sending my old Titan to a fellow Ater free of charge. It's a principle thing. I felt like I was kicked in the nuts when they dropped the 780ti. Not again.

I am jealous. Both at your level of discretionary income and the fellow ATer who got a free titan lol. But yeah, I know what you mean about the whole 780Ti debacle. That was a dick move by NV.

Sorry to take this offtopic a bit; but, I don't want this Titan that I have babied this long to show up to the poor guy in pieces. If I put it in an anti-static bag and wrap it round with plenty of bubble wrap will that keep it safe enough?

I would put it in an oversized box filled with foam penuts

Well they already got you with the 980. Massive markup over 970, check. Minor improvements over 780ti, check.. etc etc.

3rd time = lesson learnt then.

EH...I don't see why you care what card someone buys. I thought he was pretty clear...they release a $1k+ unicorn product that is the fastest for only a couple months before they release something else for less money that beats it. He feels cheated and I don't blame him. A GTX 980 is a good card and not $1k.

It's not nice to rub salt in old wounds.

Price seems pretty steep. For $1350 you could get sli 970's and the rest of the rig or at least most of it.

lol. no thanks. im willing to drop 1500-1600 on a couple of 380x's or 980ti's or whatever, but no way in hell would i spend 1350 on a single GPU graphics card.
