If this is a repost or in the wrong section, sorry

Just doesn't seem legit...

Source: http://wccftech.com/nvidias-kepler-...orce-500-series-generation-performance-chart/

I want to give the guy (website) some credit, they did release spot on Bulldozer leaks that turned out to be true despite the incredible number of naysayers, however this just seems too good to be true.

Title fixed, now cites source.

Holy **** if this is right then I am totally holding out for one of these! The 785 looks like it's going to be a POWERHOUSE of a card and the one I'm going to jump on. Finally it'll be worth it to get a waterblock for my GPU.

Everything WCCF has ever posted has turned out fake. He's fishing for page hits, nothing more nothing less.

I think the first time he pulled a graph that an enthusiast made up and bragged about being fake. Keep it classy, WCCF!

Do they have all of these cards in house for performance testing? Also, is there a version of BF3 that has PhysX like the slide says?

Holy flying cows!

Battlefield 3 with GPU phsyX enabled! (hmmm..... thats not right is it?)

obviously NOT a fake chart..... *sarcasm*
(also just look at the fps charts, and the photoshop job he did on those bars in the chart = fake)

Dude with a blog looking techsite, wants page hits... *yawns*

Unrealistic expectations in that slide. How could anything 1 gen newer be over 100% faster than last gen flagship. That hasn't happened in a long time.

I don't follow video cards too much but isn't Kepler gonna be 6xx series?

New architecture, 28 nm switch, new DX11.1 support. List goes on.

Some are guessing, nvidia skip the 600 name, and go straight for the 7xx one. So they end up haveing 7xxx vs 7xx.

I still dont see why what would happend... I think its more likely they just go with 600 name,
since their last gen was 500. If they wanted to have the same nr's at the front, they would have done it long ago so it matched up.

It kind of makes sense, the 7970 can get close to the 6990 with some hardcore overclocking, and if Nvidia holds out on releasing their cards then I can see them releasing something this powerful.

Could be one of many slides with the same generic setup.

His leaks of Bulldozer's performance as I said were pretty much spot on, though this is a bit different since it's simply a slide anyone could make without much effort.

Plus the graph starts at 0. NVIDIA almost never starts their marketing graphs at 0. (Seriously, they almost always start at 0.8)

+1

I think the 6xx or 7xx series will be good but those numbers look kinda outrageous.

Not saying it's legit, but didn't the 5870 go over 2x the performance of the 4870x2?

Didn't the 480/580 go over 2x the performance of the 295?

AMD may not have been able to do it with the 7970, but that doesn't rule out Nvidia being able to - just cause - legit slide or not.

no, as in 80%
Exactly. Most of the time they're using relative performance graphs, so the old product will be at 1.0 (with the y-axis starting at 0.8), and the new product will be at 1.2 or better, making it look like it's >2x faster.

Even when they use actual framerates they don't start at 0. IIRC the 560-448 graphs started at 25fps. So when you have an NVIDIA graph starting at 0 it's probably not real, because that's not how NVIDIA marketing usually does things.

Here is a current graph they have up on geforce.com

Says gpu physx enabled, even though the test used (gpu) has none.

However the suspect leaked one doesn't say Intel which would be a problem I'd think... But then it's leaked so it may not be a meant for public slide, maybe an internal/share holder only?
