Wcpuid and BSOD

i've seen a lot of people here (almost everyone actually) use WCPUID to tell the clock speed, temp, etc. so i thought of using it myself. but everytime i run that program, it'll just give me BSOD right away. does anyone else have this problem as well? is there any other program that works as well as WCPUID (shouldn't really say 'works well' but o well).
