Okay, I'm not seeing $149.99 at CompUSA. I get $199.99 and it says the prices are up-to-date as of 6/20. There isn't any ad this week. Anyone finding it for the $149 please post. CUSA link.

Dunno what's up. It says the prices are updated, but then it also says there isn't any ad for the upcoming week. Maybe later on in the day things will change. There was no new ad in our newspaper this morning.

I'm in Portland, and I got the flyer for CompUSA. Will Circuit City PM something that has an instant savings on it?, as worded in the ad. And I can just print out both rebate forms online from CC if I'm successful getting the price matched to CompUSA's $150?

I picked up one of these drives today to replace a my original 80gig WD JB drive. It's pretty amazing how much faster it is than my old 80. I mean, I thought that was pretty quick but the new 250gig with the higher density platters and everything really moves. To anyone thinking about making the jump go for it!

These deals are boring nowadays. Hard drives can be bought for cheap anymore, so these deals aren't really hot at all now.

What are you talking about? I check every weekend for redundant pricing in salespapers, and this doesn't happen all the time. It's not once every 4 or 5 weeks that two stores offer instant/mail-ins concurrently and allow you to screw them legitimately (for a change).

A 2500JB goes for $172 on Newegg. I just got this drive for $145 with $50 coming back to me in 2 months. That's a 44% savings, practically half off. How is that NOT a hot deal?

Circuit City won't match web prices, so you need a print ad.

The CompUSA deal is only in certain areas, though, so some of you are SOL.
