I was looking at the Amazon page for the Red Pros and noticed the descriptions show the 14TB drive has 512MB cache while the 16TB and 18TB drives have 256MB cache. If that's accurate, is there a reason they halved the cache?
According to the WD datasheet [see here] the 4TB->12TB have 256 MB of cache and 14TB->20TB have 512MB of cache. The product listing on amazon is probably wrong.

Are you talking about the internal drives or something in an enclosure? If RAW, Western Digital's site should tell you everything you need. Search by the model number and look at the info.
