First let me say that having been to your country on business, your command of the English language is very good .... certainly much better than my command (or lack of command) of the German language. Anyone that slams you for spelling and grammar errors are not very resourceful ....... since there is so many other things to dig into you for.

3dfx is the first of many companies that will fall in the next year or two. There has been a marked decline in the PC market. All companies in this arena will suffer and only the strongest and most financially secure will survive.

3dfx was in a very poor monetary position, was under a great amount of competitive pressure, and complicated their problems by having technical issues which prevented them from getting ther new products out on time.

It won't be long until much bigger Titians will fall. It may just take longer.

Anyone that sits on the sidelines of the economic slowdown and applauds the failure of the companies that are taken down is fair game IMHO for ridicule. I can only hope that your are some day out of work and have to endure an idiot of your own caliber spewing trash about how it was your own fault you no longer have work.

In all this un-information, and bickering, has anyone here notice that Hardware doesn't care what people say? It seems to be the height of folly to try and tell him anything, or impress apon him the need for grammer, rational thoughts, proof of facts, or any of the other important aspects of the written word or comunication of any type.
