And you can be racist in the racial hatred manner with the "X race is the bad race". It is not even uncommon to see the latter. I've known white people that hated black and hispanic people but were fine with asian people. I've met hispanic people that hated black and Indian people. Hell, I've known A LOT of Indian people who had no problem with white people but hated black people.

Nice! What Highschool did you go to? I actually went to Cy-Creek, graduated in 2004, and hear about the gang/drug problems that they have now that we NEVER (well, not to this extent) had the 4 years I went there.
Speaking of Willowbrook I lived in some apartments hidden down Schroeder down by the school off of 249...it was nice when I moved in, some "less than desirable" started moving in...Murder-Suicide and a couple of manager changes and the place is now a dump. It's sad to see the change in less than 3 years.
I actually live in Humble now, live in a nice apartment complex where many of the blacks drive Caddys, BMWs, etc. Shopping is good when we go into Atascocita, but it is still pretty far from work for both me and my girlfriend so we will most likely move when our lease is up. She's dead set on getting a house in The Heights :|.

Why would someone who is convinced that he or she isn't racist mind being called a racist? I can understand being against something like affirmative action, since it lowers your chances of being accepted/hired/whatever, but just being called a racist? When you aren't one? Why should that bother anyone? I got the impression that it did for some reason.

I think I have more respect for those who openly admit their racism than for those who pretend they aren't but clearly are. In Houston, there were huge groups who gathered out in the streets and in the areas of a very upper class rich white neighborhood called River Oaks, who ran around with signs supporting Zimmerman and many many signs saying we are racist and proud. All those carrying on about "race baiting" are in complete denial of what is and has been a major problem in America... racism.
