You must mean countercoup.
You can call it whatever. The fact remains Trump is a duly elected President and, before being sworn in, the Dems have made it their job to remove him from office using fake information paid for by Clinton and the DNC as key evidence.

Ummm, Clinton committed perjury, which means lying under oath - and it wasn't about getting head. There were 4 articles of impeachment filed of which 2 were passed by congress. Go look it up; you'll actually find it on liberal approved sites. Clinton was fined and had his law license suspended over this, which means a legal board reviewed his conduct and deemed that he did indeed commit said offense.

No coup. Some of them are plain as day like emoluments. Also, Republicans are on record for trying to impeach over lying about a blowjob. So please.

Perjury about a blowjob is not nearly as serious as perjury about a Russian attack on our democracy.

1st fact is if he IS impeached over russiagate then no he was not duly elected... thats the whole point.
2nd duly elected or not if the guy has brain tumors or dementia he should be kept away from the danger buttons all the same dont you think?

Once he is no longer prez, Mueller can send him to prison, right? I know the NY DA is investigating him. Does the Secret Service have to stand guard while he's in prison?
Sorry all the blood rushed to my dick when I read this and it's hard to focus.

Prison? Even if he shot someone on 5th Avenue, I doubt he'd go to jail.

Perfectly sound reasoning for trying to remove a duly elected President for the last year? Is this a joke?

Hopefully the Democrats haven't imported enough of the foreign sourced voters to allow this to happen. I'm sure Bill Nelson would love to import the rest of Puerto Rico into Orlando and remind them to register to vote. I guess all your Clinton/DNC financed Russian evidence is enough reason for you.

Being duly elected doesn't give Trump a free pass for enriching himself at the taxpayer's expense, among other ethical breaches.

Also, it's kind of amusing how you cling to the "immigrants are just a fiendish plot by Democrats to win elections!" conspiracy crap, among other fluff Fox and Breitbart told you to think.

I don't see the value in trying institute impeachment proceedings just yet. There is no chance it will even get to a vote on the House floor. This is an ongoing investigation which will likely produce more indictments, and more public revelations of incriminating information. Wait until the republicans look like assholes for not going along with it before you really start to push it. We're getting there, but IMO not quite there yet.

Way too early, I want to see the full meltdown as the indictments flow like raging floodwaters.

The problem I see is the tax bill, but I would like the Democrats being on record that there were grounds for impeaching him early on.

We're more than "on record" about it. We've been shouting it from the rooftops. I don't think it will come as a surprise when the dems eventually support impeachment in lockstep, and there won't be any surprise as to the grounds for it either. Yet it really is a tactical question of when it's appropriate to actually take concrete legislative steps toward it.

My concern is over the political blow back. The last poll I saw says support for impeachment is at 42%, with 53% not supporting. Yet Trump's average approval is 38%. That means 15% of the voting populace doesn't approve of Trump but doesn't think impeachment is appropriate right now. This is a critical group of swing voters, some of whom might view attempts to impeach at this stage as an overreach. But 3, 6, or 12 months from now, after we've seen more indictments and more evidence, many of them may change their view.
