My P4 system started rebooting when loading windows.
Right after the splash screen when the arrow is just about to appear, the damn thing reboots. This happens 100% of the time at the same point.
First couple times I thought overheat, I reseated the HSF and still happened, temps were around 39*C.
Then I thought it was the generic 350w PSU that it had been running on for 4 years. I replaced the PSU with an almost brand new Enermax 460w from my AXP system. Still same problem.
Then I noticed that some of the caps had started to explode and there was like an orange rust on the top of 3 or 4 of them.
Is the caps causing the prob? That's my guess since I ruled out the two most obvious culprits.
