We just got a Popeye's Chicken here

Buttermilk biscuits (Southern style) are supposed to be floury and a tad on the dry side, because in the South, they top their biscuits with butter or gravy (thus adding moisture to it). e.g. like Hardee's or McDonalds buttermilk biscuits

Oh yeqh, biscuits and gravy all the way! that is how I eat my breakfast, I tear up my biscuits, meat and eggs and mix it all up and cover in gravy

Their chicken is better than KFC but their biscuits and coleslaw are crappy compared to KFC. So we get the chicken from Popeyes and then stop by KFC for biscuits and slaw.
