Promises can be broken for any number of reasons. Lies are lies however.

You linked to them erroneously. The fault is yours, not theirs.

What lies would those be?

Count down till a post is made showing promises not met by Obama.

You are right! 35 minutes and the very next post was about promised not met. I'm looking for lies. Do you know the difference?

You promise your wife you won't cheat but in the future you do cheat. That's a broken promise.

You tell your wife you aren't cheating on her but you actually are cheating on her. That's a lie.

Move the goalposts whenever someone scores a touchdown against you and then claim it doesn't count. In this case I scored 5 pages worth of touchdowns against you.
Promising your wife that you're not going to cheat on her when you have every intention of cheating on her is a lie, it's also a broken promise, but that doesn't make it any less a lie.

The reason I put that so low at the end of my post was because I knew some moron would post broken promises and not lies.

Congratulations! You are that moron!

When the truth contradicts what they believe, they just change the meaning of the words so that it won't. In their minds, day becomes night, and Mitt's 800 vetoes as Governor really means he "worked with" the legislature...

I guess we will just ignore his first 2 years as President.

Why not? You're ignoring the need for 60 votes to overcome filibusters so I guess you might as well...

Total control not found; talking point confirmed.

Pretty much this, unfortunately.

It's the Foxification of the American conservative. Brains and shame went out the window sometime ago.

Just shows people are voting for the party, not the person.

I usually vote R but am voting for Gary Johnson, former Republican Gov.

What did you think Bush had between 02-06?

A minority party that was willing to work with him when it was necessary to get things done. Show me a link about the filibuster during 02-06 and I'll show you proof that from 08-12 that the minority GOP filibustered more than in the rest of the history of the US Senate combined.

That is really glossing over the question and a weak deflection as well. We are discussing numbers. If the definition of controlling the govt is now pushed to having a large majority in the house, and a filibuster proof majority in the senate + the WH. Then I dont want to hear liberals talk about how republicans controlled govt under Bush.

You'll only confuse them with facts.

We dont have a choice, we can only vote for dumb or dumber. Ron Paul or any other third party candidate has no chance since big money and the lame stream media dont give them airtime.
I am m own revolution. I don't believe in what you say because it's simply not a truth, it's a forced lie that all the fools agree to. Vote for what you believe and who best represents your ideals regardless of their affiliation, anything less is truly a wasted vote. For those of you who don't want to vote Obama or Romney, but don't like libertarian values there is Rocky Anderson and Jill Stein. Both are better candidates, Rocky AndersOn has a real Clintonesque vibe about him I suggest checking him out and seeing if he's on the ballot in your state.

New CBS/NYT poll has Obama up by 1 nationally, 48-47.

Asked if the candidate says what he believes or what people want to hear, Obama scores 50/47, while Romney scores 42/54.

So... a bunch of people know Romney is lying, but they're supporting him anyway.

This election is making me want to throw up.
Why post both stats, then ignore one as if 47 to 54 is some vast difference. Your an obvious partisan hole, and should feel bad; both are lying ass hats.

Are you guys going to cry if Romney is elected?

Does your mom cry each day you come home from school? No. She's an adult and so are we. She accepts that no one wants to kidnap such a petulant whelp. We'll accept that we don't get everything we want in a democratic republic. We'll just try harder to convince those who don't agree with us next time.

Actually, if we act like Republicans if Romney gets elected, we will have to start a propaganda campaign about Romney being a member of super secret International Mormon cult. Then keep repeating it on MSNBC at least six times a day for the duration of his administration with the goal of a one term presidency.

Nope there will be no crying.

Nope there will be no crying.

Plus the Democrats will have to block everything Romney would want for 4 years then say his administration is a complete failure.

It's perhaps a matter of perspective. When you don't like the devil you know the one you don't might be worth a shot. To put it another way if a person is 100% trusted to do things one doesn't like, then their is less of a reason to choose them. FWIW.
