I bought a Linksys WAG354G router/ADSL modem and installed it in my house. Everything went smoothly and it's wired to the desktop. I use a Linksys WPC54G pcmcia card on my laptop.
On the same and adjacent rooms, the signal is excellent. On my living room (total distance 25 feet not in line of sight) it's very low or inexistant.
Is this normal? If so, what can I do to increase the signal?
The router has a built in antenna and a slot for an external one. Can I use another one like the linksys HGA7S? and would that increase the signal strenght significantly?
