Clients should have been emailed about it. The newest server does not yet have it activated. Fantastico will be activated by the 23rd of September.

My good experience with telnap:
I signed up yesterday to move my site [http://www.chilabs.com] from a lousy personal server (had the domain forwarded) to telnap. This is the best 5.95 I have ever spent. Wow. This host is super fast and very well-configured--it took about 18 hours for the dns to broadcast properly, but now that it has, everything works as promised.
Congrats on the super host! I am amazed at the speed and number of bells and whistles.

I am almost scared now...I had no stats with the school server so I had no idea that my site was being read this much. If I would have known this, I would have gotten the 10.95 plan!
All of the plans seem to be very hot deals.

I signed up yesterday for a $5.95 plan, and I am having second thoughts that maybe I should have gotten the $10.95 plan.. is it possible to upgrade now, or even to a different deal (should one exist) a few weeks from now?

When Fantastico is available, will there be additional scripts in the Script Library on Cpanel? Last week when I purchased the Byte2 package, there were lots of tasty scripts in the script library (counters, digital clocks, etc). They now seem to be gone or did I just go to the wrong place on Cpanel?

Does it mean:

A) You can add another domain that is an alias for your main domain.

OR

B) You can add another domain that is seperate from your main domain (has it's own directory so appears unrelated to main domain).

A would refer to a parked domain, B is what an addon domain would be.

Ross - I'll set that up shortly, right now we are working on setting up a new helpdesk and FAQ section. Once this sale expires we plan on making some changes to the site before relaucging a new one.

Also this is linux hosting, sorry but, no support for ASP.

1) The http root of the addon domains is put in the http root of my main domain. Can it be seperate?

2) Using addon domain makes a subdomain for the addon domain on my main domain. Can this be deleted?

Nope, and nope...

The how cPanel does it, and whatever cPanel is the right way :laugh: NOT

cPanel is strange and they developers are exactly fast at making it work the way it should

sweet i think i did it right cuz i see the default namesecure page when i goto my domain. but i only had to input one of the

ns5.telnap.com
resolves to 205.218.66.88

ns6.telnap.com
resolves to 205.218.66.89

People as said eariler in this thread and in your welcome email's please do not set up forwarding... that will not accomplish what you are trying to do.

You need to go into DNS modification and change the NAMESERVERS to point to the ones in your welcome email (most prob. ns5.telnap.com and ns6.telnap.com)

If you are with namesecure and get an error with that, please scroll up for a solution.

sorry, i was looking for the nameservers, but i can't seem to locate where i can change that in namesecure... but i will keep looking
