Telnap.com is having a holiday sale. Now, for a limited time (from now, until 1/1/2006) all prices are 40% off of their original rates. In addition to that all qoutas are doubled. For example, the KiloByte plan is now just $14.97 per year and includes 600mb disk space and 10gb of bandwidth.

I've been hosing with them for almost a year now and have been very happy with their service.

Thanks OP, I was just about to sign up for another account with them and this will save a few bucks. I've been using them for about a year without any severe outages. They even e-mailed me once apologizing for an outage that I didn't even notice!

Im always concerned about hosts that are too cheap -- can they make money? I remember a few years back there was one of these guys where a bunch of us signed up -- he went out of biz and we lost alot of stuff.

All the dreamhost coupons I found only apply to the first year of hosting. Afterwards, it looks like the cheapest plan is around $100/yr.

We have our business plan, and I can assure you that we are profitable. Obviously I'm not one who is going to explain to the general public how we make a profit, but we've been making one for over two years now and have had no problems staying in business. Unfortunately there are many, so-called "kiddie-hosts" that come around and leave the next day, but we are not one of them. I cannot go and make a promise to say that we will be around for a set amount of time, as much as we hate to admit it, stuff does happen. I can assure you though, that we are doing everything we can to stay in business and are determined to do so for the forseeable future. If you have any specific questions feel free to email me at admin(at]telnap[.)com

I've been using Telnap for the past year for personal small hosting. They are nice and courteous (unlike some others...), good company for my money.

Just chatted with someone from Live Chat support there - I was impressed with the response time and professional quality. I may sign up for that MegaByte plan ... still thinking bout it though.

Thanks for the kind words everybody.

Bobalude > The FAQ link has been fixed. For support we use Kayako SupportSuite (kayako.com), and the ordering system is WHM Autopilot (whmautopilot.com)

I've used Telnap for over a year now and have been VERY happy with them.

I just signed up for a resellers account so I could consolidate all my sites together (cheaper and easier to manage). Very, very pleased with how that is going so far.

Great deal DeviousTrap is offering.

Sign up today. But doesn't have a good experience so far. POP3 email server not working (might be my fault). But when I try to get support, nothing is available. "Login", "Forums", "Live Chat" on homepage are all not working. Go to support page, "FAQ", "Live Chat", "Ticket System", "Message Board" are not working. Click on "Telephone Support" and get a warning message saying if this is not emergencies, there will be a $15 charge. Send an email to support but get no response. Maybe everybody is on vacation?

The POP3 mail server on the server that your account should be set up on (Envy) should be working just fine.

I apologize you about the inconvenience you are having with the buttons. The login button and the forums button are down, while migrate between two billing systems. However, the other issues you are having I cannot replicate.

The livechat button should bring you to a page to leave a message should nobody be online. The FAQ link works and leads to http://support.telnap.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=view. The Ticket System link leads to http://support.telnap.com/ and also works normally.

Support emails can be sent to support@telnap.com and will automatically create tickets in the helpdesk. I just sent in a test email myself and that email address is definately working.

Feel free to email me personally at admin@telnap.com.
