From the DATA CENTER TOUR! Sound familiar?
We solely use IBM as your hard drive (HDD) supplier. Depending on the server's architecture, we either use 75GXP drives with 7,200 rpm and 2 megabytes of cache or...
ho, ho, ho, They got my money!
All our servers come with 512 megabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM) of the famous brand Kingston. In addition to that, we hold over eight gigabytes (8,192mb) of RAM in our stock in case of emergency RAM chipset failures.
But no extra hard drives in case of the 75gxp failures?!?
FreeBSD is the operating system of our choice. Known to have the most stable TCP/IP stack of all available server operating systems, it is the ultimate solution for reliability, flexibility and performance. We use the latest stable release which is FreeBSD 4.4 with all security patches and updates applied.
Oh, help me. A free os? Why am I not surprised?
3COM network cards are installed by default in all our servers. Through exhaustive experiences with manufacturers of other network cards we have found 3COM network cards to be the most reliable giving rock-solid performance.
Somebody just scored a bunch of $270 celeron servers from Dell!

Sorry, I can't help myself. These guys desperately need marketing help. No brag, just fact.

Man I wish they could tell me where they get their UNLIMITED megabyte hard drives.

UNLIMITED storage == "We don't tell you how much storage we'll give you"

You guys jump to conclusions fast! I actually use feature price to host 3 small business web sites, and my personal site. In my opinion, they are very professional and the support requests are answered in minutes, and they offer telephone support, not just email. The bandwidth is also damn good, i can download images from my photo gallery at speeds of 200KB-300KB while I am at work, at home, I only have DSL, and that maxes out at like 158KB. Note, they are serious about the unlimited disk use and bandwidth, I store about 1.2gigs of just photo albums on my personal site. I dont use a whole of bandwidth though..so not sure, mabye less than 10gigs/month, never been over billed or anything. Anyhow, just wanted to add my viewpoint as a customer of featureprice.

That's easy when you have only a couple of clients

Well, everytime I have made a support request, it has been a different person, so that would lead me to belive they have a support "staff". I could be wrong, but I think they actually have a good bit of customers. I even found a review of them on a webhosting website:
http://www.10-best-web-site-and-domain-hosting-services.com/featureprice_review.html?EBTX.com

Anyhow....I have no problems with them, but I will not use them again, I really like to have IMAP email service, which they don't offer, so will change when my service expires.
