webcam with MS messenger, which?

I want to setup webcam so I can televideo with my children, both running win98, mine is laptop, both with cable connection.

Cost effective solution will be greatly appreciated.

I have a Kodak DVC325 that works great. It is a usb camera so it should work on about any machine. This cam also works with Windows XP just fine and lots of them do not. You can get it at pcbuyersclub.com for $30 plus shipping. Just do a shearch for Kodak. I ahve used this cam with Windows 98 and in Xp and in Messenger and netmeeting without problems.

I have web cam go plus, quality is sux..

LG Web cam is much better. that just... $30 !

it is funny, official comment from MS messenger is they don't support videoconferencing and refer me to Netmeeting...

I know several people who are using MS messenger and webcam...
