Well I ordered ten minutes ago and my account is already created. Shawn, errr, Andrew is caffeinated and ready to roll.

I used an electronic check to pay, I hope he doesn't send that info to Nigeria to get that $25 million dollars that's been waiting for him.

Yeah, got it thanks. I've got that disease every guy has, where you're allergic to manuals and instructions.

I love the "hot deal" cycle when it comes to domains, it's so predictable..

1. Discovery
2. Joy
3. Signup
4. Love (It's alot like eating chocolate, you can even email the owner he's so accessible.)
<the deal spreads>
5. Overload
6. Excuses
7. Patience
8. Excuses
9. Unreturned emails
10. Mass frustration
11. Site instability
12. Gay porn site on your server
13. ?
14 ?
15 ?
16 ?.
17. Kiss $14 goodbye
18. FBI investigation

Hopefully this one will be better.

Leave it to me to find a bug.

1. create account
2. delete account because it was assigned too much disk space
3. recreate account with less disk space
4. available disk space now 0 for additional domains
5. destroy domain, package
6. recreate package, domain
7. available disk space still 0

Blah.

1) Add package, enter information into all the fields DO NOT leave any fields empty or with unlimited. If you want none then type 0, DO NOT CLICK IP.
2) Create a New Account, DO NOT CLICK IP, select package from the bottom which will auto fill all the other fields.

Thanks for the help.

Yes, I did it that way. What I'm not understanding is the relationship between a package and a domain, but I fixed it by killing both and then just recreating a package with limited space and transfer for that single domain. It now seems to recover that space.

If you follow what I did the issue is having a second domain in that first package- it doesn't "release" the additional disk space back into the pool.

Maybe it's me.

No I don't think it's just you. I would suggest registering and posting on dathorn's forums in the general support forum.

I deleted an account but my pool of resources (webspace/bandwidth) did not increase, although I deleted an account which had 500MB webspace.

Good catch

Will a gallery be acceptable there which "might" contain nudity.

If this is only 13.50 a mo, im currently hosting with dixiesys.com, and this seems like a much better deal for 3.50 more, with 2gb and 30gb bandwith i'd have no problems there. Anyway i want to know if it'd be ok to host my site there. www.bjamm.com mainly this .. www.bjamm.com/galleries

Most of the pics are harmless but there are a couple that might be questionable... anyway , if thats ok i'll have to sign up!

Gotta love their TOS:

"You may not use your dedicated rack or virtual site to publish material, which DIS determines, at its sole discretion, to be unlawful, indecent or objectionable."

If a DIS account is used to violate the Acceptable Use Policy or our TOS, we reserve the right to terminate your service without notice.

You are prohibited from excessive consumption of resources, including CPU time, memory, disk space and session time. You may not use resource-intensive programs which negatively impact other customers or the performances of DIS systems or networks. DIS reserves the right to terminate or limit such activities.

I object to your model train / hot deals site, you got 5 visitors today instead of your usual 2. Buh-bye.

At least they didn't write it themselves.
