website idea

Hey peoples,

I was thinking about an idea for a website. I know all of you are really into getting hot deals and such and love to look at the forums. My idea is to make a website where the users can post up deals onto the homepage like they are the webmasters. They can add stuff everyday whenever a new deal is out and put instructions to get the deal for other people to see. The other moderation would be to stop people from posting fake deals and stuff. It wouldn't look like a messageboard, but like those deal websites, except the users have the power to be the administrators. I think this site would help people clean up the hours of looking for the exact instructions to get deals such as price match... blah blah blah, and since the users are post the deals, the site would be updated constantly by its own users... do you think this might work? it would require people to do stuff though

any comments suggestions.

It's a good idea.. but I think it has already been thought of, i'm sure there are many websites out there that do the same thing. http://www.slickdeals.net/ and http://www.orbitz.com/ are just two of the many.

It's a good idea, but unfortunately, it won't work.....

Putting power in the hands of many people isn't a good idea; They will always abuse it. How are you going to stop people from posting fake or not hot deals?

But don't mind me too much, I'm cynical
