PriceWatch used to be much better. I bought things from it several times. however, now it seems like one company open up multiple stores as alaiases. The prices are all within a few dollars (sometimes cents!) have mailing addresses in the same general area, and in general, advertise the identical system. ResellerRatings.com gives lousy reviews on these companies in most cases, so basically, PW means you do a search, scroll through 2-3 pages of absurdly low deals to get to a reputable dealer that doesn't make you jump through 7 different hoops to get the advertised deal. I use it for price comparisons only, now, and not actually to find a legit deal. For that, I monitor here and the"pleasantly-plump money holder" site.

I've an idea....how 'bout one of you programing gurus making a metasearch engine that combines all of these search engines, then runs the results through ResellerRatings.com for a list of the best price linked with the best rated companies. I would do it, but have NO programming skills.
Just a thought.

Isn't that called Bizrate?
They show you the best prices, in addition to store ratings? Their ratings are not as comprehensive as other ratings searches, but at least they include prices.

Exactly why is this a lockable thread? It's related to Hot Deals, and simply asks for sites for pricematching, not coupon codes.

Look, this might be one of the most influential forums out there. The amount of hot deals that can result from sharing all this information is amazing. Thanks to everyone who made a contribution and too bad for all you who only want to keep it to yourselves by telling Sephiroth this is the wrong forum. There are bigger things in life to worry about.
