umm, i'm still hoping someone will tell me whether these fans typically include the fan screws. i'm still waiting to submit my order because i don't know whether i should purchase the 20 screw set for $1. do case fans typically include the 4 screws that you need to attach the fan?

For 1 dolllar I ordered the screws so that probably means they will come with screws but on the other hand if I hadn`t had ordered the screws then they probably wouldn`t have come with the screws.To be on the safe side you could wait a couple of days for an answer and save a buck but pay regular price or just order some screws along with the order

Panaflo's that I have ordered in the past (from a different reseller) did not, I can't speak for these though. Order the screws...what's the worse thing that can happen...you're out a dollar?

thanks for the help guys. i think i'll play it safe and order the screws for a $1. gosh, i can't believe how cheap i've become from using these boards. i think it's a second type of "AT effect" - only this one makes you such a cheapskate from always looking for the best deal, so that an extra $1 set of screws or 76 cents additional shipping seems like a deal breaker!

im thinking about buying that antec close case...1030 i think...theres a deal on it right now...and so i heard those fans are kind of loud...so im thinking about replacing those with these...would there be any difference? are these loud? tia

What's so special about this plain 80mm fan? It doens't even have a 3rd tach wire to read fan speeds.

These fans are touted as being quiet with reasonable airflow. The airflow isn't stellar on just one, but at only 21 db, you can put 4 total in the 1030 case and get more than enough (on modestly O/C'd systems) airflow with minimal noise levels. The major downside on these is they don't support RPM monitoring even if you add a third wire to the exposed pin. I bought 10 when bgmicro had them for $1.99. I'm tempted to jump on this deal since the connectors will be easier to deal with, but even at $3.25 it's a bit steep when shipping is factored in for something I don't have an immediate use for.
