I don't normally prowl the OT section, but I followed a link in here.

I must say Jake, you look considerably better than you did at first. Nuckles to the side man, it'll make you look better, trust me. Seeing someone this determined to lose all that flab gives me confidence that there is still hope left in this world. Durned refined foods.

I often do stand with my nuckles to the side, I just run over from where I set the camera on the auto timer to make sure I get in the right spot (I have tape down where my feet go so It will look the same each time, but you know, I have updated with a picture in a while so I will do that tomorrow when I get my camera's sd card back. (right now on loan with some recorded tv on it)

Hard to say since I had surgery a few days later and have been percocetted up since... the plus side of which is that it has been much easier to stick to the diet.

Honestly though - if I had still lost weight last week despite all the cheating, that would have been much worse psychologically I think, since the concequences were so imediate, I think it will actually help reinforce things in the long run.

Well I finally went and bought some new clothing, didn't know how many sizes I had gone down, but I was pleasently suprised to find I had gone down a whopping 10 sizes!!! I have updated the OP with more pics of me, and this pic, but I wanted to post it again cause I am so happy about it

I am new here and just found your thread.

Awesome job. And inspiring too.

Inspiring because I wear size 58.

I am 6'8" and I am at 443lbs right now. I had no interest to losing weight prior because I can still do the splits, kick over my head while standing, and I run a 5.6 40 yrd dash. Those are things that not many 400+'ers can do....But reading this thread changed that.

I don't want to be 443lbs any more...and while I am not going to make a thread about it ( I am not that brave, but kudos to you ) I am going to be vigilant about it.

My goal is to drop down to 320lbs. So I need to drop 123lbs.

Best of luck to you sir, I will be keeping an eye on this thread. I pray that you meet your goal.

Wish me luck on mine.

sorry for the double post, but I just thought of something.

Someone with photoshop skills should take the 30 day pics and make a looping morph from month to month.

The progress that Jake has made is amazing and morphing pics of him from month to month would be neat to see.

Just a thought.
