This is probably one of my favorite obscure movies. Here's some useless trivia: This movie would have been a BIG hit...possibly the next Airplane!, BUT-----it had the misfortune of opening the same day as another silly little movie called "BATMAN". And thus....VHF is forgotten about within a week. Weird Al was so depresed at the movie's failure that he didn't work again for years.
