I work for a lab and was hoping someone here would be able to help me with this problem. The installer package of the software I'm trying to install uses Enigma installer if that rings any bells.
Basically, I installed the software (USP 27-NF 22 CD if that helps anyone) and when completed installing got the license expired message. I turned back the date to 2002 on the laptop, uninstalled the software, then reinstalled. After reinstalling, the new message I'm getting is "Your title wasn't installed properly!".
I moved on to the next USP CD in the series (it has 2 supplement CDs official on different dates through the year) making sure that the date was still turned back to 2002. This one installed and worked fine. I then uninstalled it, then reinstalled it and received the same "your title wasn't installed properly!" message.
So, I've tracked down the issue to something related to uninstalling/reinstalling the product, but I can't find a way to correct it so that the software will work again. When uninstalling, I used Revo uninstaller to make sure that it tracks down any extra registry entries the USP makes, but it still seems like the software leaves some sort of fingerprint somewhere that's not allowing me to reinstall the software.
Anyone have any ideas? Hope I explained that clearly. Thanks for your time.
