I'll start with a picture:
Screen
It's a bit discolored from the gif, but I don't think that should matter.
So here's the story. I run two monitors on my Radeon 9700 pro. I disabled one to play a game like I had several times in the past. A while into the gme and I started getting these moving lines (most akin to the ones on the right of the picture). I restarted the computer and all seemed to be ok. A day or two later I go to play the game and it starts to do the same thing soon after starting up. I restart and it starts doing things like in the image on the left. I reinstalled my video drivers and that didn't do anything. I let it sit for a while and then after a screen refresh or two, it was fine. I let it sit overnight and during work and I got back and it was fine. Then in about 40 minutes (after doing some more CPU intensive tasks), it started again. That's when I took those pictures. In a few minutes it stopped. I suspect it will do it again soon.
It doesn't matter what screen is enabled and primary, it still does it.
Any ideas?
