Weird Neighbor and Weird Things They are Doing! - Updated See First Post

First and foremost, I live in a very nice neighborhood and have never had a problem minus the occasional speeding ticket which I seem to get!

Anyway, our neighbor's boyfriend just moved in and he put a RV behind his house, which is near their bedroom. They have a cord running to their bathroom from a truck that is sitting right next to the RV. The lights are on in the RV at night. A few weeks ago we had an ice storm. They had the garage doors open and was running a generator to keep power going to the RV. However, the power in this area wasn't out. It was almost as if they feared the power going out. I guess they could have been running the geneartor to keep it warm. I don't now how RV's work thought, so that may not be certain.

At first we thought someone was living in it, but now I'm not so sure about it. The girlfriend lives in the house and she parks outside while her boyfriend parks his vehicle inside. Also, a little additional information regarding the garage....she never parked in the garage before; however, now he is. They have flood lights that light up the RV at night. They also occasionally tie their dog up near the garage.

I'm curious as to what is going on.



UPDATE: The cops came out and looked at it. They couldn't find any drugs, THANK GOD! They said he was weird and thought his wife drinked. They are going to keep an eye on it because it was a weird set-up. That makes me feel better. I haven't spoke to zoning yet.

I'm fairly certain that they're up to something. I'll second what someone else said and say that they're probably cooking meth or growing some mary jane in the RV. If they're cooking up some Meth, you definitely should NOT mind your own business. One wrong move and that stuff can blow up, pollute the area around it effectively turning it into a big Hazmat area or even cause blindness and brain damage just from the fumes. I would report it to the police if I were you.

On second thought, I do think they must be really, really stupid to be so blatant about it too. If you suspect Meth, definitely report it. If it's some mj, you decide what you want to do about it. If even a very small part of you suspects Meth though, don't hesitate.

I feel the same way, but there's really no way to know, so in this case it's safer to err on the side of the more dangerous of the two. Hell, I could care less if people want to grow their own green, but Meth is just too much of a danger, especially in close quarters to other people's houses.

Yes, it is an older RV. Like I said, at first I thought someone was living in it, but I have pretty much dismissed that thought as it appears they both live in the house.

Why would you need power in the older RV if it wasn't being used? What would you store in it? Does it need constant power?

I am minding my business. I have kids in my home. Nuff said.
