Weird Neighbor and Weird Things They are Doing! - Updated See First Post

I dunno. As soon as someone knocks on their door asking to search the place your neighbors are going to know someone tipped somebody off so all bets on not "looking suspicious" are off. For the zoning inspectors' sake, I wonder if they're armed? My vision of a zoning inspector is someone dressed casually with a notebook and maybe a flashlight (perhaps even a civilian who is subcontracted by the county) and isn't the first person I'd send to investigate a possible meth lab.

I agree about them not being armed and could be put in a dangerous position. I'm getting ready to call them back to give them the ladies tag number. The truck doesn't appear to have a tag number, but the truckbed gate is down so I can't really see it all that well. I'm going to tell them that the black thing running from the house bathroom is a hose and runs to the front of the truck. They have the hose wrapped around the front of the truck; however, if you look closely you can see a black hose run in front of the tire too. I know its running to the camper. Its painfully obvious!!!

I have some pics now and they will be linked in about 20 minutes. I don't have nighttime photos yet, but I will tonight!

I'm going to advise the zoning planner to call Narcotics of the Sheriff's department to inform them of the situation to make sure he is safe. He may have someone go with him or have the cops set-up somewhere.

Citizen's tips when they are reliable are enough to get a bench warrant.

I'd have called the cops already. Heck my wife probably would have called the cops first and asked questions later.

I may change my mind when I see the pics, but from what you describe it sounds like something illegal is going on.


Let me give you a brief story. My mom noticed strangers she had never seen before at her neighbor's house. The first thing she did was call the cops.

You know what? They were robbing the place and waiting for the neighbors to come home. The police caught them hiding in the house!

It's not about being nosy, it's about knowing your neighbors and noticing things out of place.

Why do people keep suggesting this?!!?? Does everybody know a neighbor who had a mobile meth lab that needed to be kept lit at night?! That doesn't even make sense. Jeez...

Crazy paranoid ATers...*sigh* Man, for all you know, they might just like their RV and like to keep it lit cuz they're weird. Eh.

Either way, keep us posted. I'll be shocked if it really turns out to be a mobile RV meth lab(man...a MOBILE meth lab? lol) particularly since it makes little sense to me why they'd have a mobile meth lab that had to be lit at night.

My suggestion to you is to: GET A LIFE!

Stop worrying about what your neighbors are doing and start living yours. It's kinda like those retards who think Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter) is a bad father for taking his young son out to a crocodile feeding. He's probably a 200% better father than a majority of all the fathers in the world. Anyways, LEAVE the Crocodile Hunter alone.

Does anyone else remember the episode of the Twilight Zone where the lgihts were going on and off and all the neighbors were trying to figure out which one was responsible? One neighbor would suggest something and the rest would all chime in and say stuff like "oh yea, and didnt he also do (whatever)?"....LOL

I am now as curious as the rest of you, waiting for pics. But I dont think it is anything serious.

They have one and she would like to keep it. A meth lab exploding next to your home would certainly end it. Comparing this to croc hunter is comparing apples to oranges. The people next door are doing very suspicios things and if I was in her shoes I would certainly report it. Also it's not like the RV was always back there with the lights on since the girl moved in but only when the boyfriend moved in. Always better to be safe than sorry, in this situation especially.

If at the end it's nothing then the neighbors were inconvenienced(sp?) 15 to 30 minutes tops and they can feel comfortable with their neighbors again. Whenever you do something suspicious like that you are asking for trouble.

Don't let all these naysayers give you second thoughts. Suspicious activity in a neighborhood should be reported, that's what the cops are for.

Many years ago, my dad watched a couple of people "move out" of his appt. building. Turned out that they weren't moving out, rather robbing the place.

Ovenhood running = exhausting fumes
Lights on at night = still making meth. and too fried to turn them off during the day
Hoses running everywhere = drainage

Get the cops over there NOW. A meth lab explosion will not just take out the camper, but quite a bit more.
