First off..

This could have all be avoided if you would have took 30 minutes at most and went next door and talked to them, im sure if you would have asked them to move the RV or keep the lights off they would have done so. Instead you decided to well, call the law. There was NO reason to call the law IMO! If you talked to them and they said no we arent moving it then yea, you had reason to call.

Actions speak louder then words, I wouldent be surprised if you got a little payback for putting them through so much tourble, what happen to begin friends with thoses in your community anyway?

Secondly ...

While I understand you not wanting a meth lab next door there was no reason to think that a meth op was indeed going on.

If it was a grow op going on I dont belive that is grounds for reporting ethor. I know if I lived next door and you called the law about my grow op I would be really pissed, not because you got me busted for something iilegal, because you got me busted for growing my own (to avoid dealers) and smoking my own to help me sleep at night.

Personally I suffer from 6 sleeping disorders, I smoke pot to allow me to sleep at night, yes ive tried meds and ive become addicted to them, MJ works best for me and im sticking to it. Or mabey you dont want your kids around me ethor?

Mabey next time something like this happens you will try to open the lines of communication instead of coming to a bulletin board and post wild theorys and pictures of the guys yard that lives next door.

I think you need to quit getting into others business! Does not sound like they are intruding on you? So go ask them! This pissed me off!

The neighbors have probably been reported to the FBI because they have a RV parked in their back yard. Amazing!

Wow it was interesting to see the thought process here:

OMG! They have an RV parked right behind their house!

OMG! It has a light on all the time!

OMG! It must be *dramatic pause* A METH LAB!

OMG! If it's a meth lab it's going to blow up!

OMG! When it blows up it's going to kill my children!

OMG I HAVE TO CALL THE POLICE BECAUSE MY NEIGHBORS "DEATH" LAB IS ABOUT TO BLOW UP AND KILL US ALL AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!111111

I'm kind of disappointed that the update mentions that you called zoning because of where the RV is parked. I have no problem with you calling the police for suspicious behavior, but this zoning crap is pointless. Now, you're minding their business.

Finally, I'm disappointed that you didn't follow my advice of calling anonymously and letting this thread die. I think it shows poor judgement on your part. Just because ATOT asks for pics and updates does not mean it's a good idea to provide them.

That's ok, because those of us that applaud her effort to protect her neighborhood are disgusted by those people who would do nothing about suspicious behavior in their neighborhood.

What the hell is so suspicious about a RV being parked in thier back yard???? Your 'neighborhood' can be protected by meeting each other, and looking out for each other in the friendly mannor...not calling the cops everytime a vehicle is being used. A true neighborhood would consist of a community of allies looking out for the whole...not playing snooper trooper against one.

What is suspicious has already been listed. If I had suspicions that my neighbor was manufacturing drugs next door the LAST thing I would do is talk to them about it. Cops exist for a reason, their job is to investigate and determine if illegal behavior is occuring. There is absolutely NO harm in calling the cops out about anything suspicious. You fools act like she sent them to jail for 20 years by having the cops come out and have a chat about the RV.

You can tell who the little kiddies are in this thread for sure.

Posting pictures was not smart, but it was absolutely correct of you to get a third party involved if you suspected foul play. The kiddies will realize this when they get older and their balls drop.

I would do the same thing as you (sans pictures), and if I lived near you I'd buy you a beer.

Tell this to the poor saps that are robbed, beaten, raped, and families of murdered victoms that have to wait an hour or two for the police to show because of stupid calls like strange RV lights at night.

I for one am glad Fett did what she did, I would do the same. If 10 people report suspicious activity, and 2 of those reports are valid, I would say bravo to all 10... What happens when nobody says anything for fear of offending someone?

This is freaking funny....with your ALMOST 450 all positive feedbacks on ebay and 5 neutrals that are actually great feedbacks but still a neutral and then you saying you would leave a POSITIVE feedback for someone that charged $12 for a package that cost only $4 to ship, arrived late due to shipping a GAME CONSOLE as media mail, and in a rotten box.

LOL LOL LOL what a F-ing hypocrite you are!

The "troll" had a well-thought out retort. I wouldn't appreciate pictures taken of the front/back of my apartment complex and posted online along with a story that suggested illicit activity. Would I want drug dealers/growers in my neighborhood? No, of course not. Would I post pictures and a story arousing/soliciting suspicion online to a forum of thousands, without doing any prior research? No, I wouldn't do that, either.

As for saying something, I'm all for it and support FB taking an action she felt appropriate in order to feel safer/more at ease. But in a case like this, it would be more appropriate to "say something" to either the neighbors themselves or an officer, if so inclined... but not an Internet forum. That, I believe, was a poor decision.

exactly....it's all the 'sheltered' fools or introverted masses that don't see how posting pictures and then saying THESE GUYS ARE CRIMINALS!@!@ couldn't cause problems.

What happened to just knocking on your neighbor's door and asking them?

Oh I forgot, everyone is a COWARD! now.

WAH!

You know there are words for Trolls that post under new handles because they are afraid to tell everyone their real name. Trolls mind your own business, what is that business you might ask???? Being afraid to face your peers and stating how you really feel. So Sad. Grow Up.

It is not illegal to post pics. If its public a picture can be taken. Why do you think Barbara Streisands beach home is still being printed?

How many of you pervs post pics of girls you know so others can drool over them? Do they know the pics are being posted?

Don't be too mad at this guy for snooping on his neighbors. Didn't Bush tell us to be vigilant? And lets not forget that the current threat level is "high"!!

Of course if this is all unfounded, I'll be more than happy to post here and say I was wrong. However if it's found out we're right, I imagine all you "mind your own business" types will slink into the night.

Thats funny you were wrong and you havn't said anything just slinked away into the night.

Now, you should mind your own fvcking business and leave them alone.
Grow up, and learn how to talk like an adult instead of a kid wanting to be an adult. I find your lack of vocabulary pathetic.

Thats funny you were wrong and you havn't said anything just slinked away into the night.
Sorry, I didn't realize you signed my paychecks. I should have been paying more attention to this thread than my job I suppose.

Yes, it seems our thoughts were wrong. However there is nothing wrong with reporting what we considered suspicious activity in our neighborhood to someone. Did anyone get arrested for it, no. Was anyone beaten or unlawfully searched due to the police "abusing" their powers as some people here obviously thought they would do...again no. I find it funny that I'm labeled as paranoid when we got people here thinking these very things would have happened. We've even got one person suggesting now that they've been reported to the FBI for nothing...but I'm the paranoid one.....

As far as us discussing this issue with the neighbors ahead of time, if our suspicious would have proven to be true, I don't care to myself at such a risk. Maybe some people here are dumb enough to, and that's your right to handle the situation as you see fit. However you never know how someone who would have been doing something of that nature would react.

As far as the pictures go, they are of area that is in public view. However before to condemn me, remember the next time you take a picture of a mountain or other picture-perfect scene that you too could be photographing someone's "private" property. Some of you act as if we were sneaking inside their house. As far as slander, all we ever mentioned was suspicious behavior. After all some of you told us it was "no big deal", so why is it slander now??? If it was "no big deal", then exactly what were we slandering with the photos??? You can't have your cake and eat it too.

I find it real strange that the people here telling us to get a life, are condemning us for protecting the one we have. A lot more crimes could be prevented if people reported suspicious activity so it could be checked out. If it's nothing, it causes no one any problem whatsoever. If "my paranoia" leads to even one life saved, or one less dealer on the street, then so be it.

WRONGO LOSER!

A celebrity gives up their 'privateness', you post pictures of someone else or their property that's an invasion of privacy, whether or not you could see it or not...the intention was not to share with a larger audience.

Now saying libelous things are a totally different matter.

I'd love someone to share this thread with your neighbor and a bored local attorney....better get your checkbook out.

Tell ya what on the property value thing, move to a 'real' neighborhood then with gates and a security team that drives around in little carts....make sure it has a HOA agreement that specifies nothing is allowed that you might get your spoiled panties in a bunch over....then figure out how to pay for the membership.

If you were my neighbor and I found out you called and accused me of something like this I would assure you I could make you have to move all quite legally.
