I have some weird power problems with my computer. When I turn on my computer sometimes it works. When it doesn't work I get a blank screen (no POST), mobo lights are on, and all I can do is power off and retry until the system works.
Sometimes when I hit the power on the computer comes on after ~10+ seconds. I might hear a weird clicking sound (not hdd click of death, comes from PC speaker).
When I turn off my computer (shutdown command through WinXP / Ubuntu), my computer will power off, click a little (same thing as above, from PC speaker), and then turn back on.
The only way to turn my computer completely off and keep it off is to unplug the power / turn the PSU off.
I'm thinking mobo, but with the RMA being $55 I want to check my alternatives before I send it in.
Edit: I forgot to add: Wake on LAN and Wake on USB are disabled, all USB / LAN cables are disconnected from the computer.
