Weird problem with home network

I recently changed my router with Time Warner Cable because I noticed that I was not getting even half of the 50Mbps that I pay for. TWC sent me a Ubee router to reach my maximum speeds.

After installing the new router, I ran a speed test on my laptop (speediest.net) and found that I'm now getting 53 Mbps....except now on nearly all my other connected devices (PS4, Vizio Smart TV, phone) I am getting less than 10Mbps, sometimes less than 1Mbps on the PS4.

I thought maybe it was a problem with my TP-Link router, but called their tech support and went through a number of different fixes with no results. I admit that I had not run a speed test on the TV or PS4 before switching modems, but I do know that I never had any trouble streaming HD from Netflix...now I do.

Sorry for the novel, hope someone is able to decipher that and maybe offer a solution.

Isolate. Start with nothing connected, then add one device at a time and test again. Try some internal pings too between devices. Also, test with wired whenever possible.

Also, best to be more detailed about exactly what is hooked up how. Is the new "TWC Ubee" router your new wireless router? So it's a combined cable modem/router? Are you speed testing from your laptop while wired or wireless?

If the new router is doing both your wireless and the cable modem work, you can also try hooking up your old router in "access point" mode and disabling the wireless on the new one (if possible). See if it's any faster.
