Weird Tales

Weird Tales was a pulp sci-fi and fantasy magazine that was pretty popular around the 1930s. Lots of great sci-fi and fantasy writers had some of their 1st works published in this magazine.

I was looking to see if it would be possible to find sets of them. I checked ebay and all i can find is single issues.

Does anyone here know where I might be able to find whole sets of them? I realize this will be extremely hard to find and probably extremely expensive but its something i'm interested in.

i figure with the vast knowledge and geekiness of ATOT, someone might have some ideas.

Try one of the web rare bookseller sites, like abebooks.com or alibris.com.

My sister (a rare book seller) has a set, but they're not for sale.

5 bans? i've only been banned once, unless you include the bans under the other names.

This link says only about a dozen complete sets are thought to exist. And it goes on to say the paper was of poor quality, and copies are disintegrating. The magazine ceased publishing over 50 years ago.

You might look to see if anyone reprinted collections of stories in paperback, if you're more interested in the stories than in owning copies of the magazine.

was there another magazine called weird tales because i've seen lots of stuff on ebay called weird tales from the 80s-90s

No, I've never purchased from them before--just something I ran into on Google. I believe they also have an Ebay Store but I really know nothing about them.

No, I've never purchased from them before--just something I ran into on Google. I believe they also have an Ebay Store but I really know nothing about them.
