We have quite a few members who have a FORUM NAME and a different SETI NAME. It does make it hard to keep all of the names straight but "to each his own".

You and the TeAm will get a lot more SETI Work Units if you let it run 24/7. Just be sure to have the screen saver set to "Blank Screen" or "Default Screen Saver" depending on the operating system you are using. You can go into your Power Options and have the monitor power down after (for example) 15 minutes. But be sure you have your hard drive(s) set to NEVER and the same goes for the Standby Mode.

I am well aware of that. however my home pc is directly adjacent to the main living area of my house. I can't subject my 21month old son and his care-giver (M-I-L) to that 'helicopter' all day.

When I get my old pc up and running (downstairs in my liar), I'll run that full time. 'course it's only a P2/233, but every bit counts!
