I look at facebook as the lesser of the evils out there...

Of course that's just perception, now that they've been sold off and are doing advertisements everywhere, they're just as evil as myspace...just less annoying because you don't get bombarded with crappy music or poorly designed myspace pages.

Man its horrible. I have about 5-6 people on Facebook I actually want to keep in touch with, and now use it mostly as an e-mail client for them. The other 50 or so friends I have I will never talk to again. My criteria for if I give a shit about you is, if I happen to be in town would I get in touch with you? And the answer is no for all but 5-6 of them yet I have to see pictures of the other assholes all the time because they are embedded in this e-mail client of mine. Stay away, quit while you can.

I've never understood the addiction of browsing facebook, though. IMO it's kind of boring - most of the apps are stupid and it's just weird to go around browsing pics of people.

I joined Twitter, only because other professionals in my field use it for business reasons. And also some businesses are on Twitter and sometimes respond faster on Twitter.

I'm holding off on My Space and Facebook, but I guess it's only a matter of time.

I'd rather quit. There are about 15-20 that are in a middle ground.. I don't want to insult them and have them find out I've removed them specifically, but I'll also never realistically keep in touch. So it is either I quit altogether or I look like an asshole.
