*Update* I just talked to his sister. She called me and asked what just happened. She is well aware of his former problems(he used to do a lot of meth). She asked what all went on and I told her. She said she had talked to him and he told her a bunch of lies. He said that I only gave him back thirty dollars of rent. His sister knew that he was lying though, because his mom just gave me the rent last night and it was in all 20's. I had no cash on me to give him back 30. His sister said I did the right thing.

I do not think I'd be so nice though. And since they are geeked they can pack up all there stuff fast and not have to worry about getting tired.

Good for you staying clean. and keeping your home clean. I had to survive 2-3 months of 2 roomates being all high and crap on weed. It sucked but I couldn't throw them out due to it was dorms. I could have been a rat but it would have been 2 against just me. (it was a triple room)

I still hate weed to this day as I have seen so many friends that have gone to hard drugs after using weed. #1 bridge drug.

If you think geting high is cool, get real get some help, and stop rationalizing it as "it is just recreational"

wedd is piss all, but if METH as you say is what I know as synthetic Coke or Crystal Meth or that sht they have in Thailand then you should kick them out AND call the cops, it will probably kill them if they are addicted to it, so they need to be arrested before they kill ths's, its very hallucionogenic (?).

I took their keys. I am moving in two weeks so it would be a hassle to get the locks changed. I did deadbolt the doors though. I told them when they wanted to get their stuff to give me a call and I would meet them here with my other roomate and some of our friends.

His mother and sister were here yesterday. Rent is 210, but I didn't have any cash so she just gave me 200 and told me she would give me the other 10 later. His sister was here when that happened, but he was in the other room. Thus she knew he was lying. Not only that but he has a past of lying to his family(why did I ever get him as a roomate?) .

I realize that it is hard to find good roomates sometimes. But it was maybe a bad sign that this guy's mom was paying his rent? Like she didn't even trust him enough to give it to him to give to you? Not being critical, just something to think about in the future.

That should be an obvious rule. It's not hypocritical. People change. It would only be hypocritical is Millenium was doing it too, which he isn't.

He has 2 room mates. Of the 4 of them, 2 are on the lease. The 2 who are not on the lease are bringing illegal substances into the house. So it is "his" bathroom, at least relative to the 2 meth-heads.

I'm not sure what I would have done. My gut tells me to toss them out as well. On the other hand I have lots of drugs addicts in the family and in a way I'd feel bad for not helping them a bit.

I'm not totally sure. But my gut tells me you did the right thing.
