I said by any means necessary to prove my point. Not my fault people can't understand the basic concept of sniping. I think an unbiased look at the posts shows that my modified history shows why sniping is useful.

you got "outsniped" because you were simply outbid. you would have been "outsniped" even if you sniped at 2 seconds left since the other guys "snipe" was higher than yours. oh, and it WASNT the current high bidder before you "sniped" which you originally claimed, and modified the bid history to make it as though you were correct.

the whole point of this crying thread that you made backfired hard and you modified your bid history to try and prove how "stupid" we all are and how much of an "expert" you are at sniping.

It's one thing to say that I was not outsniped in one auction. It's a whole nother issue to deny the benefits of sniping in general. Thus the modified history to show a hypothetical situation in which sniping is useful.

and no you did not modify it to show us the benefits, you tried to change it to match your story. that is exactly why you didn't mention the reason for modifying it beforehand, and wouldnt link us to the actual auction beforehand, because you knew this was just a crying and whining thread.

if you were trying to change the whole subject of this thread to the benefits of sniping, you could have done a hypothetical situation, just like 4 or 5 other people in this thread did.

but keep digging deeper, it's making this thread even more fun.

yes, but his original claim was that the current high bidder, when he sniped at 8 seconds left, bid again at 5 or so seconds left once he saw he was outbid. and that if he had done his normal sniping at 2 seconds like he usually does, then the current high bidder would not have had time to bid again because the auction would have ended.

and then he modified the bid history to match his story somewhat, but then it was later found out that he outbid bidder A with 8 seconds left, then bidder B outbid him with 3 seconds left, and B hadn't bid on the auction since the day prior.
