Went to Chick-fil-a for the first time

Used the free sandwich coupon I got in the mail and added some nuggets to the order. Not bad I must say, but pretty plain and relatively expensive for a fast food joint. I like how they use the actaul breast meat and not some whipped up chicken concoction for their sandwiches. The portion size is OK for the price (2.80 for a sandwhich, 4.50 for 12 nuggets), but the sandwitch
itself is pretty plain with only pickles and no sauce in between the plain buns. I suppose it keeps the calories down but come on, at least put some lettuce in there.

In the end, it's OK, but cant beat the Carl's Jr spicy chicken in terms of value.

That is a good value i must say, though chicken tends to have a higher value than beef, and to me anyway, the chicken tastes better.

actually, i think the chili is an even better value if you like it. it's relatively low fat and will fill you up.

It's southern style. Chick-fil-a was started in Hapeville, GA which is a suburb in south Atlanta.

It's not that expensive. It was pretty expensive 15-20 years ago when McDonalds, BK, and Wendy were cheaper. Chick-fil-A prices have held pretty steady over the years with minor bump and are now in line with other burger joints.

The nuggets pwn. I'll eat two dozen of those gleefully for one meal.

But, ya, it's darn expensive for fast food. I'd rather pick up a western bacon six dollar burger from Carls Jr for half the money. And, for the record, Burger King $1 spicy chicken is the king of the cheap meals.

I'm fricking hungry. I had some kind of food poisoning yesterday and didn't eat a thing for a day and half. Time to scarf.

I'm not a fan of their nuggets. It's too salty and overpriced although they use real meat. I prefer the processed McD nuggets and even Wendy's nuggets over Chick-fil-A.

I like their chicken sandwich, side salad, and grilled chicken salad. Their breakfast chicken biscuit is pretty good along with their chicken burrito. But Hardee's have better breakfast.

i think $0.15 will add lettuce and tomato.

but yeah, kinda pricy. not as pricy as quiznos, but you dont goto chic-a-fila for value.

value = mcd's $1 double cheeseburger, or wendy's $3 jr bacon cheeseburger, fries
+ coke combo meal

Just go grab a packet of mayo or whatever sauce, you can ask for other sauces like Polynesian if you don't see them out for customers to grab.

it's good... it's different... they marinate the chicken fillet in pickle juice before applying the batter to give it that special taste. hmmm did i just gave away their secret?

well, they do use real chicken breasts.

I used to work at a Chick-Fil-A back in high school and we received the chicken already packaged in marinate so all we had to do was flour it and pressure cook it. But I know for a fact the marinate that the chicken was received in had pickle juice/vinegar as one of the ingredients...amongst other things.

I like how they only add pickles. The sandwich is so tasty any sauce or vegetables would take away from the deliciousness of the sandwich.

Jack in the Box's Jr. bacon cheeseburger is better than Wendy's IMO.

Carl's Jr. has the best 1$ chicken sandwich.

only poor people hate chik-fil-a, and most of them want to eat there.

You can get a deluxe with lettuce and tomato for an upcharge.

They close on Sundays so they have to make a little more during the week.

For sauces/fillings just ask or pick them up at the concession stand.
