ok, for those of you who don't RAID this is a good one. I have 2 of the YS drives and they are really quiet...surprisingly quiet. I have been buying WD lately and until one fails I'll continue. Anyone know how these differ from the YS (RAID quality) drives? Just curious.

this is the KS, the YS deal expired. I have no idea why these drives are so much cheaper on newegg.com than other sites, makes you wonder how the other sites stay in business.

What's different about the warranty? According to ZZF, the KS has a 3 year warranty:
Warranty Length: Three years manufacturer warranty beginning from the manufacturing date.

Does the YS have a 5-year??

i posted the YS deal last week, WD5000YS for $150, but it expired 12/31
