I went to the OM in Provo, UT and they had several 200 and 80gb drives left at $60 and $50 respectively. It didn't seem like all that great a deal so I checked newegg and a similar WD 200gb HD is $75 shipped so with tax you are saving about $10.

Price for 320gb went up to $74.50+tax (exactly 50% off) from $59+tax in my local OM.

Of course they would not pricematch to "their" earlier price even if ad shows sale is for the whole week. Showed them my receipt from a purchase I made monday, still no PM. They explained that the price flactuates for "clearance items" since availabilty was a factor to be considered. :roll:

I went to OM, and the skinnny the guy told me is that all OLD WD boxes (blueish) are the ones that are on clearance.
They had gotten a shipment of the NEWER designed boxes (greenish), and those are NOT on clearance.

They still will be selling WDs. WD told them to get rid of old stock is what he said.
