Not a bad deal...they had an 80GB for somewhere around the same price late last year. Matter of fact I have it sitting here in front of me.

They also have a 120gb for 80 AGCO. Same price per gig if you are looking for bigger, and cheaper if you don't have GCO.

newegg has seagate's version of these drives (at least the 120 GB one) for a few $s less than the WD. It has the same specs as far as I can tell but comes with a 5 year warranty, compared to WD's 1 year.

just an FYI. the only reason i know because i was looking at possibly buying one of these devices after I saw the OP and just did some checking around.

was able to get in the deal at staples on a 100gb mini external drive for 52, see if your staples carries it

No staples here, so no go for me. The Newegg is more after shipping. However, to save me from creating another GCO account, maybe I'll go with the egg and the longer warranty.
