Westinghouse LVM-47w1

I'm planning on buying this set at buydig. Anyone heard of them? I'm getting it from them because they only charge tax to NJ. If it goes on sale again at Newegg, I'll get it there as it's almost equivalent and I trust Newegg more.

They're out of stock now, but I contacted them and they said they'll be getting them in within the next two weeks.

Any reason why this tv is not good, or buydig is not good?

I tried to check out avsforums, but it was like 300 pages of conflicting information...

If you can find one in a store, this might be a better deal because you can also use this.

Also, don't know if it's important to you or not but the TV you linked doesn't have any tuners, so you won't be able to watch TV with it...

The TX is the newer model and I would definitely opt for that over the LVM series. Included tuner and newer electronics make it the better choice IMO.

Oh, didn't know that. I plugged that model number into Amazon.com and it said that TV doesn't include tuners though...

I'm not worried about tuners as I have a cable box. The TX series has the tuners not the LVM I'm interested in.

Is there a 47" tx? If so, what specifically improved with the newer design besides the tuner?

Going to best buy would actually be the same deal, the tax would cancel out the shipping. Either way it'd be about $1450. I think best buy might have better service, hopefully. I'll call and see if they have any in stock in the neighborhood.

EDIT: Noticed you linked the TX 47" model, and it's on sale plus the coupon. NICE.

EDIT AGAIN: The sale going on in the store is for $1429, not $1350. So the before tax price is $1286 not $1215. Regardless, still a better deal than the buydig, and for a better set.
