I'm looking for an 8GB RAM kit for Ryzen (1st gen) that can do 3200MHz, which is single-rank, and CL16 or 15.
The "Clearing up any Samsung B-Die confusion" thread at reddit (the big list detailing which die each kit uses) doesn't seem to include 8GB kits (unless I'm reading it wrong).
AMD's QVL lists two 8GB kits of any CL that can do 3200MHz (GeIL GAEXY48GB3200C16DC and Adata AX4U3200W4G16), but neither are available anywhere.
The mobo's QVL (Asus PRIME B350-PLUS) lists one 8GB kit with CL16 or 15 which can run at 3200MHz, which is G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3200C16D-8GVKB; it says it can run at 3200MHz under DOCP. I'm not sure if this kit is single-rank (an issue for me b/c even if it can do 3200MHz under DOCP, I might run it under stock settings at times and would prefer that to be 2667MHz which single-rank would do rather than 2400MHz which dual-rank would do).
Should I get this kit (is it single-rank?Someone here said it's dual-rank), or does anyone have better suggestions?
(I'm looking through the Ryzen Builder's thread, though only starting from AGESA 1006 so far.)
