What about the Aopen ak73?

Anybody have experience with this mb? There's alot of discussion about the abit, asus, msi and iwill KT 133a mb's on this forum with iwill seeming to inch ahead as the current favorite. But the aopen board had built in firewire and got a high rating over at Tom's hardware (not that this means anything). Haven't seen any other reviews and I wondered if anyone here has experience with this mb. I am in the process of upgrading from an intel to an amd system and had settled on the iwill KK266 until I read Tom's review. Anyone?

I was thinkin the same thing, hope Anand will do a review of the ak73 1394 soon.

Hmmmm I thought Anandtech did a review on the ak73 1394 ???? I remember it caught my eye because its one of the first boards with the integrated firewire which I'm looking into for video editing.It had a pretty good review saying that Aopen boards are high quality and very stable.If I find the review,i'll update my post with a link. nullthey gave it 8 out of 10 hope it helps you out

Sorry, I meant the ak73 1394(A), the one with the 133a chip on it.

Tom's hardware gave it pretty good review on the 133A version. The problem now is to find a retailer who has it forsale.
