When it is this large of a collection, on both sides of the aisle, it is clear that they need to be taken seriously and definitely have substantial merit. The only point I have ever argued is that Donald Trump's hot mic wasn't him admitting to sexual assault. I'm not going to deny that his accusers have a valid claim. I believe they do.

The real question is though, when are we going to start hearing about the women doing this? And if they don't? Does that mean men really have no place in positions of power anymore? When do we as a collective gender decide to step down?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

now it's someone else's fault for bringing up the strawman that you constructed. Good one. uninspired, rookie tactic of course, but the brazen confidence with which you assert this, as if anyone could possibly take you seriously, is worth examining.

You get a 4/10, at least those other 2 idiots came up with their own material. Youre just beating the same dead horse they did...........

WTF? Don't pull another shorty "well, since there's soooo many, I guess we have to consider it has merit" type of nonsense.

The only point you have ever argued? Weird phrasing.

I don't get how you can even argue that point, considering he literally said exactly what he's been accused of doing. I don't know if you're trying to make it as a legal argument ("it won't hold up as an admission in court!") or something, but I don't even know why you're bringing that up as though you were being accused of something, or...I really don't know, as its just plain weird to be staking your position based on that, or why you're trying to argue that point in the first place. But whatever, we're in bizarro world where unless there's an extensive amount of claims, and they can't be hand waived away easily (guys, guys, its on both sides of the aisle now, so obviously it isn't just a political witch hunt), then we apparently shouldn't take it too seriously.

Hell, you're making the case for us not taking it too seriously because not enough powerful women have been accused of the same thing. You seemingly are ignoring the deluge of female teachers facing charges over having sex with their students. Oh, wait, that's right, guys response to that is "that's hot! where were these teachers when I was in school?"

Do you listen to yourself? Oh no, if women don't start rampantly sexually harassing and assaulting people, does that mean men have to give up everything? What the fuck? JHumeC is your moral fortitude so shaken that you think men are wholly incapable of not sexually harassing/assaulting people?

Now, here's something, that, I don't know, maybe we're not hearing about women doing this, because, they're largely not doing it? I mean, its not like they've been explicitly pointing out how they're overwhelmingly the victims when it comes to this, and that society has been leveraged against them on this topic (its not like we're saying that unless there's a bunch of women making the accusations that we have to start out believing they're not that credible or anything...oh wait, you're doing exactly that). That even when they're the victims and accusers, they're often attacked worse. That they rarely ever get charges to go forward, and even more rarely get convictions. That they have to hope there were others, and that they can go to the media who can then get public will against the perpetrators for them to face any consequences of their actions.

For the record, we should take these claims/allegations seriously regardless of the gender of the accusers/accused. It just happens that, like women have been saying for a very long time, that society is tilted towards enabling men to act this way. And that needs to change. And men need to start owning up to the behavior that enables worse aspects of it to flourish.

Putting aside the allegations (I know, impossible), I'm amazed Republicans support a guy who has twice been removed as a judge for his failure to uphold the constitution. I guess this is yet another issue where Republicans are hypocrites. The constitution matters until it doesn't.

Party before country.

You are? I'd be surprised if they didn't support him....

I'm not sure if you just don't understand irony (its a very common trait with morons and conservative/Republican morons especially) or if you're just simply ridiculously obtuse (any which way, you're quickly advancing in the competition for who can be the biggest dumbshit conservative shitposter; considering how similar, I'd even say that it seems like you might be a mult account to a certain dimwittedarachnid), but you're chastising others for not being original, mr "durr hurr, Pelosi's dumb! What, why are you talking about Pelosi? nuh-uh I didn't you dumb dumb, I literally mentioned her but I wasn't talking about her"? Hahahaha. I'll give you kudos, you are funny. Not that you tell good jokes, its just funny to laugh at someone trying to painfully pretend that they're not mentally stuck as a 10 year old by their own choice (as in, you're not mentally handicapped, you've chosen to be stupid). You'll fit right in at the kiddy table with a couple of other very similar posters here.

Im sorry, you must not have many friends in real life, probobly due to your personality/mental disabilities. Id be your friend if you lived near me, we could do things like take walks and discuss how much smarter you are than myself.

Guys, don't you understand that Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi MAY have, at some point, done something wrong, maybe?
Clearly this excuses all the past and future transgressions of any republican. Didn't you guys know that?

And dont get me started on Bill Clinton, the guy who was president like 17 years ago. If the things that Hillary and Nancy maybe did, possibly, arent enough, at one point nearly 20 years ago a democrat did something wrong. So again. This excuses every and all things that any republican might do.

I mean even IF Roy Moore was a pedo molester, its not like it matters, he runs as a republican. So its ok.

What I mean to say is basically all bad things you hear about republicans are just liberal plots to get them. Liberals like to plot. Cuz they are bad and republicans are always good, so whenever you hear anything bad. Its a liberal plot.

I meant the only point I had argued about Trump compared to those who are apologists or deniers.

Specifically "When you are a star, they let you do anything, grab them by the pussy". I cannot accept that this is admitting to sexual assault. It takes too liberal of an interpretation of the word "let" to construe it as unwilling, or forced, or coerced touching. There are likely many women who a guy like Trump, Moore, Lauer, did "let" them do what they did, and liked it, and then also, apparently those who did not. You can't say that he is admitting to sexual assault, he is admitting to sexual contact where the consent it unknown.

As to the rest,

That's more or less what I am saying. I probably used too strong of phrasing, for which I apologize.

You are thinking about it wrong. To hardcore republicans, it is only constitutional if it agrees with them. If it doesn't agree with them it is due to activist judges. I know people that will honestly argue that income taxes are unconstitutional.

So, when the missing first part of Trump's words quoted above, which preceded the above quote and was probably inadvertently left out by you, says the following, that's not sexual assault?

"I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her. You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything."

So, "I just start kissing them. I don't even wait. Just kiss." isn't an admission of assaulting women sexually? And I don't know what forcing kisses on women without their consent could be considered otherwise. Perhaps you could enlighten?

This is gold.

"Yeah honey, so I slept with your sister! But think of it like this, I did not sleep with your brother, and really we should be looking at all the people I did not sleep with. Really, I have only cheated with .001% of the people I could have!"

I believe that on its face it is not an admission.

Obviously there have been women that were kissed unwillingly by him, through their own statements, and then that statement basically confirms that it would in fact be true, but the statement in and of itself is not a direct admission.

If it was a different person, with a different story, it may even have consensual connotation, a singer invites a groupie backstage, he doesn't even wait, he just kisses her, he grabs her by the pussy, they take drugs and fuck all night long, it was the best night of both their lives.

So the statement alone isn't enough to be an admission. It can support the claim of sexual assault though.
