What about Thermaltake Cases?

Just browsing through this forum and noticed that Thermaltake is hardly mentioned as an option for a case... Is there a reason why?

The reason I ask is because I found their new Tsunami cases appealing in contrast to the CM WaveMaster.

Thermaltake Tsunami

Also, I hear a lot about Kinwin and Silverstone, but what about Lian-li like this one here:

Lian-li PC-6077

any thoughts?

TT cases are overdone IMHO

the Tsunami isnt bad, it improved upon the wavemaster a little bit cuz it went to 120mm fans but i dont like the window and the lack of removable mobo tray

you may want to look into the kingwin 424 and the Coolermaster Praetorian

IMO, Thermaltake is normally overdone gaudy knockoffs of other good products. I saw their Antec\Chieftec tower knockoff at Fry's and was impressed at the materials though, first time I saw a solid metal front door\panel.

I have a Thermaltake Xaser3 and it is the best case I have ever seen, or had, by far. It's light as a feather due to all aluminum, has 7 fans that are very quiet even on full speed. Good stuff.

I have a Thermaltake Tsunami and I love it. It's light, solid build quality, lots of room, and stays nice and cool. And IMO it looks great without being too gaudy. Though I'll be the first to admit it IS pricey.

isn't that case like 100 bucks? Not price at all for a solidly built case. I spent 120 on my Kingwin 424 a few weeks ago. And from what I hear, the Tsunami is better built. Don't get me wrong I love my case (so far) but the panels, especially the front bezel do seem pretty flimsly.

i just bought a ttake Damier v5000a. it is a VERY styrdy case.it was so heavy i had to hire a crane and take out 3 windows to get it to the 2nd floor. with the materials its made of i think it also can be used for a nuclear shelter. havent put it together yet but i was disappointed about not having a removable tray for the mobo

Another one with the Tsunami here. Although I'm not as impressed as the rest - build quality could be better, and someone please tell me how to remove the top cover so I can have an easier time swapping the PSU. The so-called "manual" that comes with the case is garbage.

I just bought a Thermaltake case a few weeks ago. I really like it. Cooled my CPU down by several degrees

oh and those Tsunamis arent 100bucks. they start at around 118 with no power supply and continually move up

Really? I just unbundled the wires on my PSU and slid it from the bottom, otherwise the wires would've taken too much space for it to move back far enough to be put implemented.

Quite a few of them have decent internal designs (after all, they are the same as OEMed for many of the other top names in cases), but many have a tacky appearance, at least IMO...

Most TT cases are gaudy and overdone (although they have nice features). I actually prefer the Tsunami's looks over the Wavemaster's. Also it has a lot better features (except the removable mobo tray). You can get this case without the side window you know people.

I had no problem at all getting my PSU into my Tsunami. I don't see whats causing your problems. Is the wires from the top I/O hub in the way? If so you can remove that fairly easily. Every case I've ever had the top is riveted to the frame so there's no way you can remove it easily.
