Math.

Which really really really really sucks since so much of my interests are very math intensive.

Stochastic modeling, which results from my lack of a solid foundation in prob / stat.

Oh come on, all you need to do is study more. Probe the depths of the subject, if you will. Some hands on experience can't hurt.

If you dont prepare well for the test you can get into a sticky situation

Especially in study groups...
LMFAO!

My main problem is focusing. If I'm having a bad 'focus' day, I can't accomplish much, regardless of the subject matter. My brain just flies all over the place. On good days, I have no problems learning.

Lab sciences and anything reading intensive. I had ADD or something so math or something I can pick up easily without needing to focus too much are areas I can excel in.

boring stuff. like econ.

Math, science, engineering I can handle. Its the classes I sleep through and then find out about an exam only days in advance that get me.

Going to class

But seriously, I do have an auditory processing disorder of sorts that makes going to class a waste of time anyway. No matter how hard I try I really cannot follow what the professor says. So it's not like there would be any point in going to class.

I am a damned good writer and will read if forced to.

It's always funny to get my tests back. I usually average around 20% correct on the multiple choice sections and always close to 100% on the essay portion no matter how much I know about what I am writing about. Apparently as long as it sounds good it's right. Fortunately they usually weight the essays higher than the multiple choice and I just keep floating along in this ****** up system of tertiary education.

Expecting to drown any day though

I blow at math, but I do *extremely* well in economics. My writing is pretty good, to boot.

The only class in which I feared failing and not because of a bad prof. was Philosophy.

<Professor Frink voice> I always struggled with math when they would start with the symbols and the foreign characters and the graphs of unfathomable complexity, mm-hey. </Professor Frink voice>
