I thought chaotic good would rule the poll since most people are only looking out for themselves (chaotic good).

That's not true. D&D alignments are two parts, essentially view in regard to "law" and then view in regard to "morality." Chaotic Good is essentially trying to affect the greater good while stepping on some toes along the way.

Yes. And a majority of people while not always agreeing with the laws, abide by them because either the risks are either not worth it or they know that laws provide for a polite & civilized society. Like I said in an earlier post, many of wish may *wish* to be chaotic, in reality we have to coexist with everyone else so we don't rock the boat.

Just because you abide by the general laws doesn't mean you are Lawful. I always saw Lawful Good as a sort of priest, a character who goes above and beyond, they don't just follow the laws, they enforce and dictate them. The kind of person who would tell on someone for downloading an mp3, or who would never speed, etc.

If you go 10 above the speed limit every day, don't mind lying when it suits you and are generally just out to get ahead, but are otherwise a good person, then I'd say you are chaotic good, and that is where most people end up.

I've put some thought into it, and I'd have to say Chaotic Good. BTW, anyone else think that this is a much better system than Myers Briggs?

MBTI sorts your personality. Alignment describes your moral and ethical outlook. Those aren't the same things.
